AI helped me write my mum's eulogy when I couldn't find the words

My mum passed away in May. I wanted to give the eulogy but I kept sitting down to write and nothing came. Everything felt either too small or too raw. A friend suggested I try talking to Claude — not to write the eulogy for me, but to help me find what I wanted to say. I started by just describing my mum. Her laugh. The way she made people feel. The things she always said. Claude asked me questions. What's a memory that captures who she was? What did she teach you without ever meaning to? Somewhere in that conversation I found my words. Claude helped me shape them into something I could actually stand up and say. I couldn't have done it without help. And I'm glad I asked for it.
