My study method finally works and it's because of AI

Year 11, pretty average student. Always been decent at understanding things but bad at actually studying โ€” I'd read my notes and nothing would stick. Found a method using Claude that actually works for me. After every lesson I write a one-paragraph summary of what we covered in my own words. Then I paste it into Claude and ask it to tell me what I got right, what I got wrong, and what I'm missing. That immediate feedback loop is something I've never had before. In school you do homework and find out a week later what you got wrong. By then it's too late to fix the understanding. With AI I find out the same day. Fix the understanding. Move on. I also use it for exam prep. I tell it the topic and ask it to quiz me like an examiner. Hard questions, not easy ones. If I get something wrong it explains it and quizzes me again on the same concept in a different way. My grades this semester are the best they've been since Year 7. I'm not naturally smart โ€” I think I'm naturally lazy โ€” but this method makes studying feel like it has a point because you can see it working.

โœฆ WORKFLOW STEPS
1After each lesson, write a paragraph summary in your own words โ€” no notes
2Paste to Claude for accuracy check
3Fix any misunderstandings immediately
4For exam prep: ask for hard questions on the topic, not easy ones
5Never use AI to do the thinking for you โ€” use it to check your thinking
๐Ÿ“‹ THE PROMPT
Here is my summary of what we covered in [subject] today: [paste summary]. Tell me: 1) What I got right, 2) What I got wrong or misunderstood, 3) What important things I missed. Be specific. Don't be gentle โ€” I need to know what I actually don't understand.
