Writing thank you notes used to take me forever. Not anymore.

This is small but it used to stress me out disproportionately. After job interviews, after someone did me a favour, after events โ€” I'd stare at a blank email for 20 minutes trying to write a genuine thank you that didn't sound generic. Now I just tell Claude who I'm thanking, what for, and one specific thing that stood out, and ask it to write a warm, genuine note. Takes 2 minutes. The notes actually sound like me because I give it the specific detail. And I send them now, which I didn't always before. Small thing. But I get replies to them. People notice when you follow up properly.

โฑ Time saved: 20 mins per note
โœฆ WORKFLOW STEPS
1Note one specific thing you want to mention while it's fresh
2Give Claude the who, what and the specific detail
3Ask for under 100 words, warm and genuine
4Read it, adjust any bits that don't sound like you, send
๐Ÿ“‹ THE PROMPT
Write a genuine thank you note to [name] who [what they did]. One specific thing that stood out: [detail]. Keep it warm, personal and under 100 words. Don't make it sound like a template.
